Stuart Park

image

Stuart Park borders the north side of Gilcrease Museum on Gilcrease Museum Road in Tulsa. The developed part of the park consists of roughly twenty acres and there is over a hundred acres of undeveloped land.

The developed part of the park contains a fairly extensive system of surfaced trails as well as well as two ponds, a flower garden and several pieces of statuary representing wildlife. There is also a display representing an early Native American encampment and one representing a pioneer homestead.

The park is an excellent place for spotting wildlife, hiking or just relaxing.

Airport

Doing respirator fit tests on airport police. In an hour and a half I’ve done ONE. This session could have been eliminated. But with one glaring exception the officers and support staff are great people, very welcoming–very appreciative.

Eclipse

It’s off to a less than spectacular start but worth staying up for. I doubt if the photos will be worth much but I’m going to try to upload a few. Remember that they’re cell phone photos.
